About Me
Hi! I’m Catharine Latham, an English Language Educator and Specialist with over 20 years’ experience in English language education.
During 16 years with the British Council across Europe, Asia and the UAE, I worked as an English teacher, teacher trainer, Head of Primary and Primary Education Consultant. I also worked closely with local schools and Ministries of Education, providing teacher training and consultancy to support the development of more learner-centred approaches and the implementation of new English curricula in line with current teaching methodology.
I have taught children, teenagers and adults from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds and have specialist experience in English as an Additional Language (EAL) and supporting international learners.
My approach is interactive, learner-centred, communicative and highly personalised. I look forward to hearing from you and to working with you to help you or your children make great progress with the English!
